Ombak Luwung is set on an acre of beachfront land in the quiet fishing village of Canggu. Designed by internationally-renowned and award-winning architect/designer, Bill Bensley, and top Balinese architect, Popo Danes, the estate is composed of five ensuite bedrooms, a living pavilion, dining pavilion, and massage pavilion. Lush gardens, an infinity pool, heated jacuzzi, and endless sea views are also at your doorstep.

The large, open-air living room in the traditional wantilan design looks out to the 17 meter, infinity-edge swimming pool, jacuzzi, and finally, the incredible sea view. Additionally, our beautifully carved, antique lumbung (rice house) is perfectly situated to provide a private retreat to enjoy the fantastic sunsets over the Indian Ocean.
Relax in privacy by the pool or enjoy a game of croquet, badminton, or ultimate Frisbee on our wide open lawn.

Event

Ombak Luwung does not allow the setting up of bar, buffet serving tables, DJ, sound system and any station that is associated with heavy foot traffic and heavy equipment directly on any grass surfaces.
The exceptions are 1. the large open area between the villa and the street 2. the lawn area closer to the ocean side by the outdoor shower near the pool. Any plans by the guest and his/her event planner to use other parts of the lawn for the above purposes should be discussed with owner , owner’s representative or Ombak Luwung management well in advance. Should the Client proceed to do so without prior approval from Ombak Luwung management, Ombak Luwung management reserves the right to disallow the event to proceed and/or to charge the client for an
amount that shall reflect not only the cost but also time to repair, as such damage may prevent the renting of Ombak Luwung to other clients.

No dancing is allowed directly on the pool deck or chess plaza. Properly constructed dance floor is required and is the responsibility of the client and his/her event organizer.

For avoidance of doubt, no fire dances, fireworks nor “Thai lanterns” are allowed on the grounds of Ombak Luwung under any circumstances. Fire Dance may be held on the beach in front of the property.
